Codebots Ltd, trading as 71 Squared, designs and sells software, including Focused, Glyph Designer and Particle Designer.

We only collect what we need to sell the software, deliver licenses and answer you.

  • to run this website and the forum

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with other organisations for their marketing.

4. Companies that process data for us

FastSpring takes payment for software bought from our store. FastSpring is the seller of record for those orders and handles billing. FastSpring’s privacy policy.

Brevo (formerly Sendinblue) runs the mailing list. If you sign up, we store the email address you enter so we can send news and offers. Every message has an unsubscribe link. Brevo’s privacy policy.

This website also loads Facebook and X widgets. Those companies receive data under their own policies when the widgets run.

5. Why we are allowed to use it

  • purchases and license delivery: the contract with you
  • the mailing list: your consent, which you can withdraw
  • support and running the website: our legitimate interest in answering customers and operating the service

6. How we store it

Pages on this website are served over HTTPS. We keep as little personal information as we can, and we protect it with ordinary technical and organisational measures. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

7. How long we keep it

  • purchase records: up to 6 years, for accounts and tax
  • mailing list: until you unsubscribe
  • support messages: for as long as we need them to deal with the request

8. Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your personal information, ask us to correct or delete it, withdraw consent for the mailing list, or object to processing based on legitimate interest. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
